La Grange au Lac
Inaugurated in May 1993, La Grange au Lac is located in between the Hôtel Royal and Hôtel Ermitage and is surrounded by larch trees. Built entirely from wood, this concert hall is the only one of its kind in he world and was designed in honour of the famous cellist Mstislav Rostropovich. Its flawless acoustics and incredible architecture make it a venue not to be missed!
La Grange au Lac
Along with acoustician Yaying Xu, Patrick Bouchain took on the challenge of building this “wooden tent”. It offers a unique, secluded location in an unspoilt natural setting for organising conferences and hosting seminars and can be booked for exclusive use.
Built entirely from wood, the auditorium lends itself to original company conferences, team building, incentives and more. The venue can be totally transformed to suit any type of event and any group size. La Grange au Lac offers outstanding acoustics and a huge stage that can be adapted and customised to create original scenery. The stage was extended during the winter of 2022/2023 from 150 to 200m².
The lower part of the auditorium is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
During the winter of 2023/2024, a new phase of works will provide the hall with the boxes it lacked until now.
A bucolic reception area
Located in a forest of larch trees in the grounds of the Evian Resort, a cross between a Savoyard barn and Russian datcha, La Grange au Lac is without a doubt one of the most beautiful concert halls in the world. Whether just for a drinks reception or a garden party, the bucolic setting of La Grange au Lac is ideal for laid-back get-togethers.
